Coconut oil solidifies at room temperature of 75ºF or colder and melts at around 76ºF. If the coconut oil is at a solid state warming it will liquefy the oil. 

For Hair: Scoop an ample amount of melted coconut oil using finger tips onto the palm of hands and apply to hair from roots to tips.

For Skin: Scoop a small amount of coconut oil using finger tips onto palms of hands and massage oil onto skin until evenly distributed.
