Humble Beginnings

Nubian Heritage is the brainchild of two New York street vendors. In 1992 fresh out of college and without jobs, Rich and Nyema embarked on a mission to produce luxurious natural products from traditional African recipes with fair trade ingredients. Today Nubian Heritage offers culturally authentic natural products inspired by global ancient healing philosophies. Although Nubian Heritage products are no longer made in bath tubs, little else has changed; the company still makes its own products, still uses fair trade ingredients and still invests in community commerce.

Heritage

Abyssinian Oil was made famous by Queen of Sheba, the ruler of ancient Ethiopia. Ancient superfoods, Chia Seeds and Amaranth Extract have been cultivated since the 16th century while Ginseng, rich in vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals, is used in traditional Chinese medicine. Inspired by these natural ingredients, our package pattern symbolizes faith and celebrates the rich textile history of Ethiopia where some of the world's finest cotton is grown. 

Drop one bath bomb into a tub of warm water, before or after getting in. Relax and enjoy. After the bath bombs have dissolved, they may leave traces of petals, herbs and other natural ingredients.
